Can other Members read my Scripts on the site? That’s entirely up to you and the privacy settings you choose. You can set your profile as Public or Private. SCRIPT BOARD On the Script Board, you have the option to make your work available to all Community Members, including professionals from the Film Industry. Typically, this area is used to share pitches or brief concepts designed to spark interest and attract attention. However, you’re free to upload more extensive materials if you want to increase visibility, especially among industry professionals. WRITERS' ROOM In the Writers’ Room area, you have complete control over the content you upload and who gets access. You can invite specific members to join your room, creating a direct and private communication channel. This also includes the ability to organize video calls with members who have access to this private area. Furthermore, in the WRITERS' ROOM settings you can choose whether to make a room public, private or hidden. INDUSTRY The Industry area operates differently. Here, only Industry Members who are specifically interested in optioning scripts can access and download PDFs. This access is reserved for Scripts that have received a positive evaluation. Also, if your Script is evaluated, you can decide whether to upload the reviewed PDF to the Industry area or keep it private. Regardless of your choice, we always recommend keeping your Profile Public and sharing your work. This strategy maximizes your chances of connecting with professionals interested in taking your projects to the next level.

Does the Community require payment for services? Our Community is an exclusive and highly selective environment designed to connect creatives and professionals in the film industry within a high-level network. The payment required for each member is not just about access, but is essential to maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity that define THINK PIG. For this reason, before signing up, we invite you to read our "☕️ Coffee Policy". Here are some reasons why we have chosen this model: Quality and Selection: The financial contribution helps maintain a high standard of quality, ensuring that only serious and committed members are part of the Community. Each membership fee contributes to selecting authors and professionals who are ready to invest in their future and opportunities. Access to Exclusive Resources: Paid members have access to a variety of resources and opportunities that go beyond simple participation in the Community. This includes the chance to be read by industry experts, participate in events, workshops, creative residencies, and access a network of privileged contacts that can make a difference in the career of a writer or producer. Support for Projects and Growth: Paid plans allow us to provide constant support to members, from professional project evaluations to the opportunity to build international connections with industry leaders. Our goal is to facilitate members' growth by providing them with concrete tools for success. Maintaining the Community and Platform: Each membership fee, depending on the chosen plan, contributes to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the platform and services offered, ensuring the best possible experience for every member. THINK PIG’s Community is continuously evolving, and it is thanks to the contributions of our members that we can sustain this development. Dedicated Support: Regardless of the plan chosen, the payment for membership allows us to maintain a dedicated support team ready to assist members at every stage of their journey. In any case, before signing up, we invite you to read our "☕️ Coffee Policy", which will clarify this aspect for you.

-
Who can see my Profile?Your profile is visible only to those you choose. Many members, both Creatives and Industry Professionals, choose to make their page public to increase visibility opportunities. Others prefer to keep it private or make it visible only to specific THINK PIG members. This is why in the THINKPIGGERS section, you may notice a number of users lower than the actual number of registered members. The difference is that Industry Members can view all profiles of Creative Members, even if they have a private profile, unless the profiles are explicit blocked by the Creative Members (but we highly doubt that...). On the other hand, Creative Members can only see the profiles of Industry Members who have made their profiles public. Why this difference? Because we know that Authors, in their pursuit of opportunities, might go to any lengths to contact Industry Members. For this reason, we provide a higher level of privacy to Industry Members, to prevent them from being overwhelmed by unsolicited requests and to allow them to participate in the Community in a more protected way. Whether you are an Author or a Producer, regardless of your fame or experience level in the Industry, we always recommend having a Public Profile, as this is the best way to facilitate connections and collaborations among professionals. PRIVACY SETTING To change the visibility settings of your profile: Click the menu in the top right and select "ACCOUNT" from the dropdown menu. Scroll down to the "Profile Privacy" section. Here, you can fully customize the visibility of your profile and contact information, deciding who can read your scripts or interact with you. Once you have selected the privacy level that best suits your needs, click "Make profile Private" or "Make profile Public." Confirm the changes in the pop-up that appears to save the settings.

What are the criteria for Creative Membership approval?THINK PIG Community was created to connect creatives and high-level professionals in the film industry. We welcome experienced authors and screenwriters, as well as emerging talents, provided they can demonstrate their affiliation with the audiovisual sector and a strong commitment to professional growth. As a niche community, we maintain highly selective standards. This is why, during registration, we ask you to indicate your level of experience based on the number of scripts you have already brought into production. This will qualify your profile within the community through a BADGE. When you submit your application, our team will carefully review it. We’ll take the necessary time to assess your professional profile and conduct any relevant checks. If your application is approved, you’ll receive a welcome email inviting you to join the Community. If not, we’ll contact you to request additional documentation to confirm your experience in the audiovisual industry. So, please be patient! To speed up the evaluation process, feel free to send additional documentation (links or a CV) to community@thinkpig.it, providing more details about your experience in the industry. Important Note: To maintain the exclusive and professional nature of the Community, our team periodically reviews active profiles, especially private ones without active plans. If your profile remains inactive for too long, we may proceed with its removal. We want our Community to consist of Members motivated to collaborate and driven by professional growth.

Are there any restrictions or obligations associated with Industry Membership? We expect all our members to abide by the THINK PIG terms and conditions. We expect Industry Members to rate only the projects that they've read enough to have an informed opinion about, and we expect them to treat the writers they find via the ecosystem with the dignity and respect all human beings deserve. We reserve the right to remove any industry member from the site at any time based on our discretion. We monitor all industry member behavior closely to ensure that members respect our community and its members.

How can Industry Professionals contact me?There are primarily three ways industry professionals can contact you: Through the SCRIPT BOARD: If Industry members wish to contact you directly, they can do so using the contact information you’ve provided on your cover page (make sure your information is up-to-date). Additionally, they can reach out through the project wall you’ve uploaded on the SCRIPT BOARD or in an internal WRITERS' ROOM. Through one of our Creative Producers or Showrunners: If one of our Creative Producers or Showrunners is interested in your script, they will invite you to take it to the next level in a WRITERS’ ROOM. If they believe your project is ready, they will present it to a Film Industry professional who they believe could potentially take on your script for an option or rights acquisition. In this case, to ensure a high level of meritocracy and fair negotiation, your project will be presented anonymously. This allows the producer to make an offer based on the potential of the work rather than the author’s notoriety. After a Script Evaluation: If your project receives positive feedback (at least 6/10), THINK PIG will will connect with a Film Industry Professional who they believe could potentially take on your script for an option or rights acquisition. Similar to the previous scenario, your project will be presented anonymously to maintain a high level of meritocracy and fair negotiation, ensuring that the producer's offer is based on the work's potential, not the author’s fame.
-
Who Can Request an Evaluation?Any Author, Writer or Screenwriter with a project that’s at least 80% complete can purchase an evaluation. However, we encourage writers to first upload their draft to the SCRIPT BOARD or a WRITERS’ ROOM to receive informal, free feedback from the Community. This step helps writers refine their project before investing in an official evaluation, which could return critical feedback.
-
What Are Evaluations?Evaluations provide both written and numerical feedback from a team of at least three Professional Script Readers, along with an assigned Head Reader for each script. This feedback is concise yet thorough, including: a pitch/logline description crafted by the Head Reader, targeted analysis of the project’s strengths and weaknesses, an overview of how the project might perform within the relevant industry. A Merit-Based, Impartial Process Numerical scores reflect the collective opinions of at least three Readers on the strength of various project components and its overall feasibility in the market. The evaluation data is integrated into THINK PIG’s ecosystem and used to index projects in our searchable database, accessible to Film Industry Professionals. THINK PIG ensures a transparent and merit-based evaluation process, utilizing a diverse pool of professional readers. This approach mirrors the type of feedback a writer might receive when reaching out cold to agencies, production offices, or literary agents. Due to the diversity of reader perspectives, it’s rare for feedback to align perfectly across the board.
-
Will the Readers be influenced by previous evaluations or ratings of my work? No. Our Readers do not have access to your previous evaluations or ratings. The only information they have access to is the title of your project and the PDF of your script.
-
Are my Evaluations generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI)?Absolutely not. Our evaluations are exclusively conducted by human readers. THINK PIG's Script Readers are specifically trained to avoid using artificial intelligence in the evaluation process. Using AI in this context would be a serious violation of our policies and would result in immediate termination. Additionally, our Community will never share an author's material with an LLM or AI without explicit permission. Regarding AI detection tests, it is important to note that experts agree that current tools are unreliable and tend to produce inconsistent results. Therefore, we will never consider AI-generated text detectors when evaluating the quality of a script. Furthermore, each time we evaluate a screenplay, we include a stamp at the beginning of the PDF that guarantees the recipient that the work was not created by AI. This process ensures that Industry Members can trust that the reading and evaluation have been done by human professionals, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability within our Community. If you believe your project hasn't been read with the necessary attention or if you notice clear mistakes in the evaluation, we are happy to take another look. To resolve any issue as quickly and efficiently as possible, please contact our support team at support@thinkpig.us.
-
How Does the Evaluation Process Work? For each project: Anonymous Selection: At least three professional readers are randomly chosen. Independent Review: Scripts are evaluated anonymously; neither the readers nor the Head Reader know the writer’s identity or who else is involved in the evaluation process. Structured Feedback: Each reader submits a scorecard with detailed ratings and comments. This system guarantees fairness and impartiality.
-
Can a Reader evaluate the same material more than once? No. THINK PIG Community is designed to provide the type of feedback a writer might receive if they were to cold-contact agencies, production offices, or agents, rather than continuous coverage or development of the material. Therefore, our readers are not allowed to review the same project more than once. While we understand that writers may wish to revise their material, our services are not tailored for this purpose.
-
How Are Projects Assigned to Readers?THINK PIG assigns readers to a project based on a range of dynamic and highly personalized factors. THINK PIG uses a dynamic and customized system to assign projects to readers, ensuring a highly professional and impartial approach for both the Author and the Producer who will receive the script. Professional Experience and Genre Preferences Readers are segmented based on their expertise in specific film genres to ensure accurate and relevant assessments. They can review only projects that match their professional experience. For example, a reader with expertise in comedies will never be assigned a project in experimental cinema, and vice versa. During the onboarding process, readers specify their preferred genres and can update these preferences at any time. THINK PIG ensures that each reader works only on projects in genres they enjoy. For instance, a reader who loves fantasy will never receive a horror script. Multiple Assessments and the Role of the Head Reader Each project is evaluated by at least three experienced readers. To complete the process, THINK PIG assigns a Head Reader who writes a final independent comment without access to the ratings or feedback from other readers. This procedure adds an additional level of accuracy and ensures objectivity. Meritocratic System THINK PIG operates on a meritocratic principle, without any personal preferences, to protect both Authors and Producers. This approach guarantees that assessments are based solely on the merit and potential of the project, maintaining the integrity of the process. This methodology not only creates a professional and motivating environment for readers but also offers Authors and Producers a high-quality service that adheres to the highest standards of impartiality and precision. We Want You to Better Understand Our Policy Imagine if we told you we had your script read by Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino, two legends of cinema. It would still be an operation influenced by their unique artistic visions. For example, we know that Martin has a certain aversion to Marvel superhero films. Does it make sense for your superhero script to end up in the hands of a director who doesn't like that genre? Similarly, when we present your script to productions, we will never propose a fantasy work to someone who exclusively works in comedy. For us, consistency and passion are the key to making sure your project reaches the right hands.
-
Who are these Industry Members?THINK PIG Community includes over 2000 international professionals from the Film Industry, including Producers, Creative Producers, Showrunners, Distributors, Agents, Agencies, and Managers. Their mission is to actively support the careers and professional growth of Writers and Screenwriters. Each potential member is carefully vetted by our team to ensure they have solid experience in their field and expertise in the development of films, TV series, television shows, documentaries, formats, experimental projects, and in the evaluation and production of any writing project that is destined to become an audiovisual work.
-
Who Are the Script Readers? To ensure a high level of quality in evaluations and guarantee fairness and meritocracy, the identity of our Script Readers/Analysts remains strictly confidential. We cannot provide identifying information about the readers to Authors or Industry members on the platform. THINK PIG has developed an advanced system that protects the privacy of all community members while delivering a highly professional and reliable evaluation service.
-
How are my Scripts protected on the THINK PIG community?THINK PIG uses advanced security measures to protect your scripts, ensuring that all material uploaded to SCRIPT BOARD, WRITERS' ROOM, and SCRIPT ACCELERATOR is certified with a digital timestamp verifying the authorship and publication date. While THINK PIG takes all possible steps to protect your work, for additional legal security, we strongly recommend registering your script on copyright protection platforms like PATAMU before sharing it.
-
Who has access to my Scripts?Access to your scripts is strictly controlled and limited to community members and professional partners working on the project, with all access tracked and monitored in real-time. You can rest assured that your work is treated with the utmost respect. However, for complete protection, we recommend registering your materials on copyright protection platforms like PATAMU before sharing them.
-
What happens if someone else copies my Script? In the event of copyright infringement, THINK PIG will support you by providing documentation that confirms the official publication of your script on the platform. However, it will be your responsibility to take the necessary legal actions to protect your rights. Registering your work on platforms like PATAMU provides additional legal protection, confirming your authorship and priority of creation.
-
How is my Script protected in SCRIPT ACCELERATOR?If your Script is positively evaluated, THINK PIG will inform you of the opportunity to upload it anonymously to the INDUSTRY area, which is accessible only to Industry members who may be interested in your work. Every Industry member who receives or downloads your script will be required to sign an NDA, providing additional protection. We still recommend registering your script on PATAMU before sharing it for complete legal security.
-
What happens if my Script is used without my permission? If your Script is used without your consent, THINK PIG is not responsible, but we will assist you in collecting documentation to prove the official publication of your script on our platform. It will be your responsibility to take the necessary legal actions to protect your rights. However, registering your script on platforms like PATAMU will provide additional support to ensure your copyright is protected.
-
What is the difference between uploading a protected Script to SCRIPT BOARD or WRITERS' ROOM?SCRIPT BOARD is a public environment accessible to all professional members of the community. It’s designed for sharing drafts or preliminary versions of your work. Since it is not a fully private environment, we recommend registering your script on copyright protection platforms like PATAMU before uploading it. WRITERS' ROOM is a private environment where confidentiality is guaranteed at the highest level. To access this space, all members and partners must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), ensuring that shared material is fully protected. This allows you to focus on developing your project with total peace of mind.
-
What is THINK PIG's mission?THINK PIG is independent and completely different from any other platform offering similar services, and the reason is simple: we're niche and have no traditional business objectives. It might sound strange, but our goal is to stay "small" and avoid expanding with users who lack real expertise. Our long-term goal is to become the only accredited platform for selecting the best audiovisual works, a point of reference for high-level authors and producers, and limited to those who truly know how to write and produce with real skill. In short, we don’t want to be Pepsi or Coca-Cola. If we have to, we’d prefer to be Red Bull—though, to be honest, we don’t drink any of those 'junk' beverages.
-
When was the THINK PIG founded?History THINK PIG brand was founded in 2005 by Giulio Galotti as a Film Production Company and Creative Media Factory, officially launching in 2015: thinkpig.us In 2008, Giulio conceived the idea of creating an international community that would bring together Writers, Producers, and Industry Professionals. However, at that time, the market was not yet ready for such an innovation. During the lockdown, responding to numerous requests from Italian production companies that needed to create content remotely due to travel restrictions, Giulio saw the opportunity to develop the Community platform. Between 2018 and 2019, the platform was refined and officially launched in January 2021. In just three months, it gained over 2,000 registrations, quickly demonstrating its relevance and the innovative impact that THINK PIG had on the audiovisual production landscape.

How does THINK PIG's Philosophy work?At THINK PIG, we are committed to Meritocracy and Opportunity. We don’t profit off writers—we aim to uncover the most talented voices and brilliant stories, helping them present their projects in the best possible light to professionals in the Film Industry. For more information on the THINK PIG Philosophy we invite you to read the "Coffee" Policy ☕️

How does THINK PIG benefit Authors and Industry Members? One of the main challenges of our work is helping Authors understand that they are not alone with their brilliant ideas. However, if they don't make their voice heard through THINK PIG, they will struggle to get noticed. At the same time, we aim to make Producers aware that the world is full of innovative ideas that deserve to be told, and that thanks to THINK PIG, they can find high-quality projects. In short, THINK PIG is the ideal meeting point to connect supply and demand, in a context free of prejudice and conjecture. THINK PIG, in fact, meritocratizes the cinema, television, and entertainment industries, ensuring that every project is evaluated and presented exclusively based on its quality, not the identity of the Author, their network of contacts, or their personal resources. Imagine us as the "Mr. Wolf" of Pulp Fiction, but on an international level: we solve problems! If the author is "Jules" and the producer is "Vincent", like Mr. Wolf, we are the problem solvers, and our goal is to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. So, let's get straight to the point: the clock is ticking to solve the problem. Not everything you'll find here will be the definitive solution to your problems, but if you provide us with the right information, we’ll solve it before "Jimmy's wife" arrives. For this reason, always remember that we’re not Ezekiel, but we are still a source of hope for his entire Community. That's why "we’re trying, Ringo. We’re trying with all our might to become the Shepherd."
